Refurbishment and Fit Out of protected 2-storey building within Meath Hospital Campus. Prior to commencement of works, the building had been derelict for years and was completely rundown. Refurbishment of existing building within live HSE controlled Meath Hospital Campus with conservation requirements from DCC, high specification office fit-out with internal acoustic screens and be-spoke joinery.
Works included; environmental clean and full internal strip out and asbestos removal, external cast iron repairs and refurbishment, demolition of rear escape stairs and entrance steps, external drainage and site works in conjunction with client appointed archaeologist, landscaping, full M&E fit out including lift removal and installation, internal acoustic studwork and internal glazed partitions, suspended ceilings, screens and joinery, external façade upgrade with brickwork and granite stone cleaning, remedial structural repair works, refurbishment of timber sash windows, strip and re-slating using reclaimed slates to match existing of full roof including remedial timber treatments and weathering, drainage and decoration works. There was also significant demolition works to create more space within the campus for staff and visitor car park space.
