Managing Director

Frank Doolan

Frank Doolan is one of the founding partners of Glenbeigh Construction Ltd and the Glenbeigh Group of Companies. He has been central to the development of Glenbeigh Construction Ltd since its foundation in 1985. Frank is the Managing Director of Glenbeigh Construction Ltd and is responsible for developing and implementing the constructions business strategy.

John Donlon

Profile

John Donlon has over 18 years high level experience in the Irish Construction Industry. His experience covers major projects in the private sector (e.g. Aer Lingus, Etihad Airways, Twitter, Facebook), semi-state (e.g. DAA, Iarnrod Eireann), and state (e.g. Castlerea Prison, Leinster House, Midlands Prison, Dublin Castle, Wexford Hospital). As General Manager of Glenbeigh John has been responsible for overall project management, design build coordination and the management of client’s relationships.

Qualifications & Certificates

Degree in Construction Economics and Management (Bolton Street / Trinity College) – 1997-2001 Honours Managing Safely in Construction, validated by the Institute of Occupational and Health.

Michael Muldoon

Profile

Michael Muldoon has over 29 years experience in the Irish Construction Industry. During his time spent in the ever changing construction sector Michael has worked as a Site Manager, Contracts Manager and Project Manager in the private development, state and semi-state departments. Michael has been working in co-ordination, management and construction of traditional build, fit-out works, conservation works and design and build projects.

Diploma in Building Surveying from Dundalk IT 1992. Certificate in Building Construction from Dundalk IT. 2nd Place in Building Manager of the Year 1999. Managing Safely in Construction, validated by the Institute of Occupational and Health 2012. DAA Security Cleared, First Aid. Managing Safely in Construction by CIF.

Michael’s role as Contracts Director is key within the overall management structure of the company.
He has excellent skills and experience in planning, resourcing and programming of construction projects. Michael has vast experience in the delivery of large construction projects for clients such as, Dublin Airport Authority, Public Government Contracts, HSE Projects, large residential projects both new build and refurbishment.
Having a very positive approach to the construction process, Michael possesses the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with our clients and project teams.
As part of the overall Glenbeigh Team approach, he has delivered many excellent, high quality projects.

Cian Ward

Profile

Cian is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and has been working with Glenbeigh since 2008. His experience covers major projects in the private sector, semi-state and state sectors both in Ireland and the UK, including involvement in new build, refurbishment and fit out projects across a wide spectrum of markets including Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Airport and Custodial. As Operations Manager of Glenbeigh Cian is involved in all aspects of the tendering, procurement, contract administration and post contract stages of all major projects.

Des has an in depth understanding of construction project needs and is responsible for the commercial management of projects across a variety of industry sectors. He is a highly motivated and strategically minded individual, focused on developing commercially efficient solutions and planning for challenges before they arise. Des’s ability to identify and minimise risk, while maximising opportunity ensures that he continues to successfully deliver complex construction projects.

Siobhan McDermott

Profile

Siobhan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (FACCA) with over 20 years’ experience working in senior finance roles and over 14 years’ in the Construction Industry. As head of Finance, Siobhan is responsible for the overall financial direction of the group. She has worked with Glenbeigh as Head of Finance since joining the company in 2006 and is an integral member of the senior management team.

Siobhan has been a member of the Glenbeigh senior management team since 2006. Prior to joining Glenbeigh Siobhan held senior finance roles in both industry and practice.

Siobhan leads the Finance and IT functions including key strategic development, risk management and all legal and regulatory requirements for the Group businesses.

Dorothy Sheehan

Profile

With a Bachelor of Science in Construction in Architectural Technology with over 16 years’ experience in the construction industry within the commercial, healthcare, residential, industrial, retail & fitout sectors. Dorothy joined Glenbeigh Construction as Estimating Manager in September 2021

Qualifications & Certificates

Dorothy graduated in 2006 from ITC with a BSc in Construction in Architectural Technology.

Dorothy has a wide and varied career spanning from specializing in glazed facades, cleanrooms, pharma moving into general construction with a number of professional companies throughout the country.

Miriam Hayes

Profile

Miriam has been working in the construction industry for 15 years and has Administrative and Health & Safety experience on Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, Residential, Hotel and Airport projects. She has knowledge in Quality, Health and Safety and BCAR, and implements policy and procedure on all our projects to ensure we meet and maintain our ISO Certifications 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018, and to ensure Legislative compliance on all Glenbeigh Construction Sites.
